Picts at Inveravon

Inveravon sits in the Spey valley, towards the southernmost tip of Banffshire, where is terminates in the Cairngorms. This was the land of thePicts.

The church holds a collection of four well preserved Pictish stones or parts of.

Mirror case and eagle, and mirror and comb. It is interesting to compare the quality of workmanship with the fine Pictish beast below

Unfortunately little remains of what was a finely carved Pictish beat
